She ran up the court, looking to get open. She broke for the basket and scored, sprinted back to stop the ball. The game was over and her team had won.


Sophomore Jessie Kramer plays on the Jv basketball team here at Marion. Jessie also is involved in softball, and volleyball. While playing all those sports Jessie still maintains good grades and does well in school.


This is her second year of participating in school basketball. Jessie really enjoys the sport and the coaches. “Yeah Strain and Walters are hilarious and they are easy to get off task”. Despite a couple losses, the season is going well. “I think that the season is going wonderfully,” said Jessie smiling. She plans on continuing with basketball throughout her high school years.
