Metal meteors cruise by at speeds that would put any Olympic runner to shame, yet Alex Charipar is still not afraid to take risks. With one hand on the wheel and one hand on his cell phone, his life is in his hands.
“I love livin’ on the edge,” exclaims Alex. Laws and warnings aren’t enough to stop Alex; he is going to make his own decisions. “I feel like texting is alright when at a stop sign or a stop light,” he explains. Alex is a responsible man though, and he realizes the risk associated with this dangerous practice. “I mostly text when driving by myself,” he elaborates. He understands there is an obligation to not put his friends’ lives in danger.
Alex isn’t unfamiliar with the punishing fist of the law. “I’ve been pulled over 5 times,” he says. But these instances haven’t hindered his love for his country. “Love it or leave it, USA number one!” he righteously shouts.
Catching the glimpse of a cop in his peripherals, he throws his phone back into his lap. No officer is going to be able to stop this America-loving libertarian as long as cameras stay uninstalled from his car.
