Today on the early morning news, they said that gas prices are going to go up another .25 cents from the $3.15 that it’s already at. By the end of the summer of 2011 gas prices are predicted to rise as high as $5.00, and only grow higher. They even say there might be a second recession.
There are many war’s going on in the Middle East currently, contributing to the outrageous incline of gas prices. Just because gas prices are going to go up doesn’t mean traveling is impossible. Bussing, bikes, walking and walking are going to become very popular, very fast.
When the price of gas goes up many other things are going to go up as well. Heating and electricity, airline tickets, food, and anything that is shipped by boat, train, or truck will go up in price.
