Heather Lappe, freshmen, joined tennis for her first time this year. It’s not her first year playing sports though. Heather also plays basketball, softball, and is involved in Take Charge.
She has never played before, but is enjoying how the season is going so far. “It’s fun. Together we are a good team and we do a good job at encouraging each other. Coaches do a good job of pushing us and helping us achieve goals.”
Heather wanted to join tennis because it’s something different. “…I liked it because it wasn’t offered at the middle school.”
After the first day, she was excited. She enjoyed the idea of the game; it was something different.
