Seniors leaving us to pick up the pieces

Noah Walter @Tyranoahsaurus [Video Editor]

Seniors. When they leave everything changes. Whether it be good or bad this is the sad truth. When seniors leave for college one still in high school won’t be able to see them everyday like they use to. They can’t call them to chill and run to Pancheros with them anymore. All of that goes away for everyone wanting to interact with the future college students.

Everything is going to be different. The high schoolers will have to find new people to hang out with at bonfires, get advice from, look up to, or even just new people to have a conversation with. These people have to be replaced. Students are forced to find a substitute for someone they had such fond memories with before they left. They will just remember how things used to be. That everything they did together are forever just a memory, and the sad thing is one can no longer make memories with the seniors no more.

So the junior class must step up and become that mentor, that person who an underclassman can look up to, that friend that will go on adventures anywhere with someone. It won’t be the same but it’ll have to work. Moving on isn’t easy, but everyone has to suck it up, move on, and make the best of what’s in front of them, with the people surrounding them.
