The girls soccer team had a jamboree on April 6th at Kingston Stadium at 3:30 pm. They played Prairie in a good match, but ended up losing. The score was 0 to 1. Kristin Kramer, a center forward on the team, thought, “We did okay. I think for our first time we played good having a lot of freshmen stepping up and starting.” Kristin felt the team will keep improving every game they play and hopefully winning a few along the way.
The season looks promising for the girl’s soccer team this year. “I think it will go good and I think we will improve a lot and win a lot of games,” Kristin expressed. Hopefully the girl’s team this year will work hard and get their chance to go to state, a goal they all have. Kristin feels the best part of being on the soccer team is being with all the girls and sharing the same team goals as they do. Kristin thinks they will have a great season.
The Jamboree on April 6th didn’t exactly turn out the way the girl’s soccer team wanted, but they still played good. “It was a great start to our season and we look forward to seeing everyone at our games,“ Kristin said with a huge smile. The girl’s soccer team should have a great season and hopes everyone is there to support them and their goal to go to state.
