Another Monday has reluctantly returned leaving many high school students fatigued as they begin their week. Monday, the day that disrespectfully ends the wonderful weekend, is really annoying. It comes along each week without even asking, causing students and staff to get up early and go where they don’t want to be. There are so many things worth complaining about when it comes to Monday, but the worst parts are getting up early and having the weekend be over.

 The most dreadful part of Monday is having that stupid alarm scream and awaken even the deepest most peaceful sleepers from their slumber. Maybe, if Monday didn’t force everyone to get up before the rooster crows, it wouldn’t even be so bad. If everyone got to sleep in just a little bit longer, not as many people would come to school after just crawling out of bed. People would be happy on this now dreadful day, and the name Monday Funday could become a reality. Although getting out of bed may be the worst part of the day, there are other things that make Monday just as non enjoyable.

Another reason Monday is so terrible is because it is the day right after the weekend. Now many may be saying, “That is a simple fact, but why does it make Monday bad?” Well, it makes Monday the worst thing ever because the weekend is so fun and full of relaxation then BAM! Here is Monday ready to ruin life. Of course, it doesn’t actually ruin life because as bad as it may be it is only 24 hours and then it doesn’t happen again for another 144 hours so just push through.

With Mondays happening all the time it leaves people questioning if they will ever get away. Well the answer is no, no human or plant or animal on this earth can escape Monday, so just get through it and maybe terrific Tuesday will be better!
