We all know how good it feels to get out of school for the well-deserved holiday break. A week and a half of sleeping in and watching Netflix while you stuff your face with goodies, or maybe a nice family vacation. The point is, you get a break from the normal everyday routine of school,work, and drama. But is it all worth it?
The day you come back from all this, the day you have to get up early and go back to school, may be worse than actually staying in school for that week and a half. Today is that day, and you can tell. Everyone is complaining that the break wasn’t long enough. People are dragging their feet down the hall, with short tempers and grumpy attitudes. If you didn’t do your homework over break (lets be honest, who did?) then that means students probably stayed up late to finish it, or, being extremely lazy, did it this morning in the library.
Summing all this up, everyone wants the holiday break, but they complain more about coming back.
