Today is Thursday, September 27th, 2012. This is no ordinary school day here at the high school. Suspenseful faces and stomachaches are what some of the things that the senior class is feeling today. It is the day that Homecoming court of 2012 is announced at the end of the long tiresome day.

Even though not every guy or girl in the senior class doesn’t say that they want to be on homecoming court to anyone, everyone wishes it. Whether a person is the head football captain or cheerleader, has the most volunteer hours or has had the most solos in the school musical or even has taken over millions of pictures for journalism or even the kids that aren’t involved in anything, they would probably think it would be pretty sweet to be on the royal court.

Homecoming court shouldn’t be based on what you are involved in, it should be about the good character that a person shows and has. Integrity, respect, kindness, responsibility, honesty, trustworthiness, and many more characteristics. Just in general if a person is a good person then most likely that person could and should be on the court.
