Where has all the time gone? It is the beginning of one of the most important years in some high school student’s careers. It is the last year of high school, senior year is finally here. So many memories have been made over the past 1,460 days. Not all of these memories have been amazing or shocking, but its life which goes on with ups and downs like a roller coaster ride.
Teachers always tell students to make the most of their senior year. Try new things and get active in a variety of activities. Whether it’s taking a new class such as advanced writing or a math class such as stats and probability, try it! Or maybe it’s trying out for a part in the school musical or sport such as bowling. Whatever it is, get involved and make it the best year ever. Being involved can be fun! It’s a good way to make new friends and stay out of trouble! Who knows, a person might even find a new passion for something very exciting!
There are so many things to get involved in such as volunteering for a teacher, sports, the drama and music department, journalism including the yearbook and school newspaper, art classes including drawing and computer graphics, maybe even Lego league! There’s so much to do still and so little time, so jump on it seniors and make the year rock.
Now is the time to get involved. Soon the people of the senior class will be walking across the stage at graduation. Enjoying and celebrating their last carefree summer before they pack up the car and road trip up to college to complete the next chapter of their life. Every person’s life is like a book and each person is the author. The author chooses what happens so make good choices. Your book could be a bestseller!
