For some High Schoolers playing sports while in school is the best time of their lives. Some kids are so set on being successful in athletics that they decide to move schools for the sole purpose of getting a better chance of recruitment or for more team success.
Moving to a different school for the sole purpose of getting more college offers is acceptable. This would help one to a better path for their personal success and will help a lot with their college tuition. Moving can help the athletes career by getting them into bigger and better colleges than they may have gotten at the previous school they attended. The student may only be getting a few division 3 and division 2 offers because the colleges are not sure the recruit is ready for the competition in more advanced collegiate athletics.
If an athlete is moving to a different school only in hopes to obtain a state championship, this is wrong. It is only fair that the athlete stay where they originally planned on going to high school. Where one lives is where they should play. Moving to a different school would just be quitting on your team. One needs to work hard to earn things without just quitting and trying to find something better.
