He’s next in line. He walks up and grabs his ball and gets ready. All of the pins are up. The ball is aimed, brought backwards, and than forwards. He releases.
Aaron Reisner, senior, has been bowling since last year and enjoys it a lot. “It’s fun. It’s harder than most people know. A lot of focus is needed. It’s good to have determination,” he said. Because it takes a lot of focus and determination, it’s good to have the practices.
There are some different things that the bowlers do for their practices. “We usually start off with corners, bowl two or more games that go towards your average and the average determines if you go on varsity or not,” Aaron commented.
The varsity team is doing really well this year and there is a potential of placing for state. “Varsity is very good. Looking like we could finish in the top 3 in state,” he expressed. Aaron is very close to being on the varsity team. “I am on the border line varsity, he added.
The ball rolls down the lane, almost down the middle. It does a slight curve and hits straight into the pins. It’s a strike!
