The sun is out, the tanning lotion is on and summer is coming! Marion only has fifteen school days left until summer vacation. Students, and even staff, are ready for the school year to be over. Summer means liberation from the tough, draining school year. The three months of freedom that await students is quickly approaching. With it comes happiness and a feeling of relief.
Summer not only means the school doors shutting, but it also means a whole new world opening. There are so many things to do and so many places to go. The warm weather means beaches, swim suits, and fun for all! Waking up late and staying up late is what most students look forward to. Summer days are meant to be cherished and spent wisely. Even when people are bored during summer, they’re still happy because being bored during summer is better than being bored during school. Just laying around the house, watching TV, beats sitting in a hot classroom, barely awake.
The warm days of freedom are coming. The smell and the feel of summer are in the air. Summer fever is almost over. Only fifteen more days until freedom, and for the seniors even less. Summer is almost here. Students and staff, just hold on tight, you’re almost there!
