As the snow starts to fall more and more, students are having troubles getting to and from school. Lately the snow has been causing a lot of troubles for students. The snow has also made it very hard for the students who are open enrolled to get to school on time for their first class.

For people who live in Cedar Rapids or other cities that already take some time to get to school, the commute can be troubling. Not only do students have to deal with the safety of them, they also have to deal with the other people around them. Some ways to prepare for all the bad weather is by looking at the weather forecast the night before. By doing this people can make sure that they give themselves enough time in the morning to get to school on time.

Another thing is that the school should also think about possibly giving a two hour delay for days when the roads are really bad. Two hour delays could help the students be  safe and calm behind the wheel because it would give them more time to get to school and not have to rush so they can get there on time.

The snow might be pretty but it is very dangerous. Students and teachers should consider what the weather is like and how the roads are. The school also should take in to consideration if the weather is really bad that it might be a good idea to give a two-hour delay. Either way be safe during the winter and also give yourself enough time in the mornings.
