He throws the ball down the lane and the sound of colliding pins is all he can hear. He got a strike. He throws his hands up in the air, celebrating.
Peter Rethwisch is a part of Marion High School Bowling. He has been since he was a freshman. He says he’s in bowling because it’s fun, easy, and, “There’s no pressure.” He likes to have his friends with him while he does something he enjoys.
The thing that Peter is most excited about is having the whole team together again. Practice starts today at Marion Bowl. The Marion Bowling team practices twice a week. His average score is 180 out of 300. He hopes that maybe he could possibly beat his average score.
He is excited for this season and can’t wait for practice tonight. He will see all of his friends and hopefully do great and have a fun time.
