What fascinations do people have with buying expensive clothes? Is it the attention they get from wearing them, the feeling of the material, or the satisfaction of having a lot of money to spend on objects such as clothes?
Yes, pricey clothes from the Buckle, American Eagle, and Hollister are adorable and will get a lot of compliments, but is it really worth spending $100-$200 on one item? There are clothes available for purchase that are just as cute from Rue 21, Plato’s Closet, Gordmans, and other department stores. Buying a pair of jeans from one of these places could either save money, or you can get more for your dollar. It is fun to have fancy clothes, and to get attention from the clothes you wear, but it shouldn’t be a frivolous buy.
