It’s the last week of April. May will be here before we know it! It has been a very cold and rainy April so far; it feels as if we live in Forks like in the movie Twilight! What happened to the warm April shower that brings May flowers?

Ashley Reed, sophomore, hates the cold weather we’ve been having so far this April. “I feel that the weather is stupid, because it’s too cold out to wear my cute spring clothes, and all I want is for it to be sunny and not rainy everyday!” she exclaimed. All she wants to do is be able to drive around in her Jeep with the widows down on the sunny days, but during this weather she has to drive with the heat on because it’s way to cold out.

She plays golf for the girl’s varsity team. Usually the weather is way warmer this time of the year. She said, “No this weather is not normal because usually it’s just rainy weather and not cold.” It’s hard to believe but the weather in March was actually nicer! This type of weather is really bad for the golf season. “Yeah it effects golf, we haven’t had one meet where its been sunny and the cold weather effects us drastically.” The way things are going it could be a chilly summer. Ashley said, “It better not be a cold summer!” with extreme anger in her voice.
