He walked into high school, knowing that he would play golf for the Marion team. He couldn’t wait for spring to come around so he could get back on the course and score some hole in ones.

Brandon Wright, freshman, plays golf. “I’ve played golf for about three years but never on a school team,” said Brandon. He is looking forward to getting to play on a high school team. Brandon hasn’t golfed since the summer. Brandon’s brother and dad also golf, but Brandon usually finds himself golfing with his friends instead.

There are a few different parts to golfing. Brandon’s favorite part is putting and his least favorite part is “walking, you have to do a lot of it,” stated Brandon. His favorite club is the driver and his favorite place to golf is at Squaw Creek.

Its springtime, and he walks onto the course for the first time in months. He gets ready, swings back, and hits the ball. He watches the ball slowly roll toward the hole, it’s a hole in one!
