It’s Valentine’s Day and that means it’s time to call the flower company, get the box full of chocolate, and go find that one gift that expresses the three little words, I Love You, perfectly. People try so hard on this one day of the year to say those three little words so perfectly, but what about the other 364 days of the year? Valentine’s Day should not be the only day people focus on saying I love you to their sweetheart.
There are many great aspects of Valentine’s Day. It’s one day out of the year that people get to express their love to someone is the most extravagant way without being over the top. It’s one day that people get to remind someone special that they love them in little or big ways, but it shouldn’t be the only day. People should not only focus on telling people they love them on only one that out of the year.
People put too much pressure and emphasis on Valentine’s Day. It’s great for people to tell someone how much they love them, but there shouldn’t be the need to have a day that makes people feel they need to. Valentine’s Day makes people feel they need someone to spend it with or need to tell someone they love them, but it shouldn’t be like that. Valentine’s Day should just be a day for people to say they love someone without all the focus having someone or not having someone. A day for people to say how much they love someone just like they do the rest of the 364 days of the year.
