There are also everyday scents that are always sold, so there is something for everyone. This operation can be very sentimental to many people due to the emotions they carry. Someone may smell something and instantly think of someone they lost or haven’t seen in a very long time. It can be magical when finding a scent that truly feels like home. After choosing a scent, people pick a vessel in which the candle will be put. Then workers will help customers create their soy candles. After about two hours, the candle is safe to go home, so people can pick it up the same day. 

     When creating the store, Evans tried to turn her dream into a reality. She was making candles during the pandemic and realized how much she loved the activity. She felt more happy and relaxed when creating her pieces. Evans said, “I knew candle bars have been popping up in bigger cities and thought Uptown Marion would be the perfect spot for this.” She then researched to find a franchise that would support her idea, and this is where she found Sea Love. Evans said, “We are very much into sustainability, less waste, reuse.” Sea Love only uses the finest high-quality fragrance oils with 100 percent soy wax. This ingredient is safer than the other leading waxes that are full of chemicals.  Evans said, “Soy wax is good for the environment and healthy to breathe.” This corresponds to the safety of pets, children, and even people with respiratory issues. The company is actually from a city in Maine, and Evans went there to connect with the owner. She learned valuable information that helped her business become what it is now.
