Much time and energy has been spent in preparation of the home wrestling meet tomorrow night. Mason Hiler, sophomore, feels he is ready and will bring his best.
Hiler explained, “I prepare by working hard in practice everyday and pushing my teammates.” He has started off the season well, he is currently 3-1 and hopes to come out with an even better record after tomorrow. Hiler has been working since the summer and currently has physically and mentally challenging practices every day. All of this hard work has gotten him in shape to succeed.
Hiler has love for the sport, “I wrestle because it’s fun, and I’ve been wrestling since I was four.” Working hard will get Hiler far in his wrestling career, but he also enjoys improving his friendships with his teammates. Hiler has gotten close with Caleb Conway, Colin Conway, and Trey Clifton, and their friendship makes wrestling so much better. Sports help improve not only physically but mentally and socially.
