She walks into the choir room ready to begin the final run through of all their music. She knows that all the hard work and practice will be worth it for the Choir Concert tomorrow.
Madison Redlinger, senior, is going into her last year of choir. This is the first concert of the season, and it is a little different this year. “It’s in the auditorium at 7 p.m. and now there is a charge to get in,” she explains. This year they have taken on the challenge of singing all-state literature music. “There is a lot of people trying out for all-state, but it’s really hard,” Redlinger said.
“I think we will do good,” she says confidently. For Redlinger this concert is to show off what they can do. Being senior year it also means a lot to do the challenging music, “it’s crazy because I have to take on a lot of leadership and try to enjoy my last year in choir.”
As the concert approaches, so do the nerves. She knows that this concert will go good. Madison feels her senior year will be great knowing that she gets to perform in part of the choir.
