Seeing students worn out and always tired during class has became something very common to see. Stresses from school, work, and just life start to take affect on teenager’s minds and bodies. For some weekends just aren’t a long enough break from everything.
School can cause a lot of stress for students. Having classes that are an hour and a half long with homework in each can make it hard. Having to schedule time just to do homework after school gets difficult when in sports and having a job. Causing students to have to try to do homework before school or last minute.
After school some students have practices for sports. Usually after practice teens are usually very tired and just would want to go home and relax. Unfortunately that’s not always how it works out. For some, right after practice they have work to go to. Working late right after a practice is tedious, and when they get home doing homework isn’t the number one thing on their list to do. Even just having to work right after school can make it difficult to get homework done.
Having all this extra stress takes a lot out of a person. It wears out their body out making them extra tired. Seeming like no matter how much you sleep it’s never enough. Being a full time student with work and/or sports can be extremely hard, and sleep deprivation is a serious problem for high school students.
