Today the school is starting the fourth week of school. The heat at the beginning of the year has caused the school to give early outs. The school even experienced its first week of all early outs. Then last week there was no school for a day due to a holiday, Marion has not had a full week of school yet this school year.
Some students that this is a great thing and they would like this every week. But having classes cut short is making it hard on the teachers. They have to shove all of their plans into a littler time, which could also cause them to become behind in their plans. To keep from falling behind more homework could possibly be assigned to the students.
The early outs are good in a way, the school is just way too hot and stuffy for anyone to focuss. People are getting irritated easily, and annoyed from the stickiness in the room. Crabby teenagers and teachers is never a good combination. These early outs are giving everyone a break from each other and a chance to cool down.
At the time everyone says that the early outs are good since the school is unbearable, but we have no experienced a full week of school. So almost after a month of school when that first full week hits us we might lose it. Not from the heat but from the reality that its a full week, no early outs and no days off to look forward too.
