The sound of basketballs banging repetitively on the firm gym floor. Warm up music screaming in her ears, the smell of food from the consessions flowing through the room making mouths water. It’s game time!

Jessie Kramer, senior, has played basketball since she was seven years old. Though basketball may not be her favorite sport, she sure still is dedicated. “ I am very excited to play against Clear Creek Amana, I’m not really nervous, just excited,” Jessie explains.

Before game day there are different team traditions and traditions she does on her own. “Every day before a game I always get Jimmy Johns and drink an Arizona Tea.” The team traditions are very different though. Jessie said, “Wealways have team dinner before every game. We also pray as a team.”

As she warms up to play against Clear Creek, Jessie clears her mind and gets ready to be the best post she can be, and be an inside threat to the opposing team.
